Lady Sheer

Barefooted beauty with wild flowing hair,
Garnished with wildflowers woven with care.
One word from this woman of supernatural wont,
Brings kisses and dreams that ne'er could be daunt.

Man in his weakness would give all he owns,
His business, his future and all he has sown--
To be with the Lady with answers unspoken,
With unfettered flight though his heart could be broken.

E'er wilt Her beauty excel o'er us all,
And bring us the unspoken words lest we fall,
Letting us list to the song that She sings,
Bringing us close to Her wild Irish wings.

Lady of night, guard closely their souls,
Bring them home safely, we gladly pay the toll.
Thy presence so fragile yet strong as pure silk,
Bound to Thee forever with a love white as milk.

Give us wings, Dear Lady, to meet Thee halfway.
