Hawthorne Berries- rich in Bio-flavanoids and Vitamin C, increases the amount of oxygen and blood flowing to the heart. Improves circulation and makes heart muscles stronger. Mild diuretic.

Horehound- great expectorant, relieves bronchitis due to colds. Good for digestion...also rids body of excess fluid by promoting perspiration.

Horsetail- very rich in nutrients the Chinese and Europeans have used this for centuries. Strengthens nails, bones and the connective tissues from muscles to bone. Rids skin of excess oils.

Jasmine- as a tea it has a relaxing affect on the body. Reportedly if the oil is rubbed on the body it aids in arousal.

Juniper Berries- improves digestion, aids the body in removing excess fluid. Used to treat gout. Will relieve urinary infections. Caution- do not use during pregnancy.

Kava Kava- mild diuretic, relieves muscle spasms and stress.Helps with insomnia by relaxing the body.Caution- do not use for long amounts of time as can damage kidneys.

Lavender- a member of the mint family, this herb is used in perfumes,soaps and many other fragrance based products. As a tea it has a calming affect on the body and reduces gas. The oil sprinkled on your bed pillow will help you sleep.

Licorice- and you thought it was just candy. Licorice has been used for centuries to relieve peptic ulcers, break up chest congestion. Calm a sore throat, reduce the stiffness and pain from arthritis. The National Cancer institute is studying its properties as some may slow down the growth of cancerous cells. Caution- do not use if you have high blood pressure.

Marshmallow- used for centuries to treat raw throats and chest congestion. Also relieves the pain from ulcers and colitis. Also has a calming affect on the body.

Milk Thistle- used in Europe to cleanse the Liver. Helps increase the production of bile thus helping rid the body of toxins.

Myrrh- since ancient time this plant has been used as a mouthwash to treat infected gums. Helps with stomach flu and the common cold. Also appears to increase the body's immune system. Caution- do not use if pregnant or suffering from kidney disease.

Nettle- helps reduce the symptoms of hayfever, lowers blood sugar levels. Rich in Iron and Vitamin C. Can help eliminate yeast infections. Caution- do not eat uncooked plants- can cause kidney damage and symptoms of poisoning.
